Tue 7th: Busted Walk The Red Carpet Amidst all the glitz and glam at the MTV VMA Awards last week in America, The Busted boys were photographed on the biggest red carpet they've ever seen and they appeared just the way we like 'em, in their good old trademark shorts and baggy jeans. The lads literally walked off their tour bus and confronted the waiting paparazzi at the VMA's after 100's of miles driving through the dessert with no air conditioning!! The show was attended by big name celebs including Jay Z, Beyonce, Alisha Keyes, Stevie Wonder, Usher and loads more! Matt, James & Charlie, were sitting just 2 rows away from Marilyn Manson!

Fri 3rd: Still No.1 in Japan Busted retain the No.1 crown in Japan for the third week running! Thunderbirds is still the Japanese favourite song - lets hope Matt, James & Charlie makes as big a splash in the USA too!

Wed 1st: Busted in America Busted set off for New York a couple of weeks ago. The flight was fantastic, the luggage was not! First casualty, Matt’s guitar crushed in flight, great! The Boys spent a few days in New York, being filmed by MTV for a new reality TV show, and performing a show for a NY radio station. Then it was off to Colorado Springs, via Dallas for another show. Unfortunately they ended up being diverted to Denver due to dangerous storms in Colorado, and man were they heavy storms! They watched a storm the following day with heavy thunder and fork lightening all around them, covering the Rocky Mountains. To make matters worse, one more guitar was damaged in flight, and another one missing….and still missing!!! Matt, James and Charlie are nevertheless in great form. A few days later, and the Busted crew met up with their new tour bus and driver ‘Wade Long’. An American tour bus is something pretty special, they look like a mobile ‘OK Diner’ from the outside, but on board, everything…even showers!!! Much needed though, in the USA you don’t cover a couple of hundred miles from London to Manchester, it’s about seven hundred miles EACH DAY!!! The air con packed up on the bus for a nine-hour drive with temperatures of 110 degrees, nice. The guys are on route to Miami where they are going to the VMA Awards. More news soon…..
