Thu 22nd: Guten Tag as they say in Germany! "That's good day by the way and it's what we've been saying all day cos we're in Germany at the moment. We're going to play a gig later at a school here for some winners of a German TOTP competition. Hope you all had the best Christmas & New Year - I was in Colorado with my family and had a great time - met and got to know quite a few of the locals which was cool. Mon 19th: Busted Calendar top seller! The official Busted 2004 calendar was a huge seller over Christmas. Official calendar firm Danilo has Busted as the second biggest seller in the UK - the highest new entry in this year's list. The No.1 best seller was of course Kylie Minogue!

Fri 16th: New Single Announcement: WHO’S DAVID? Get ready for another extremely large helping of Busted as they announce the release of their 2nd single from A Present For Everyone. You don’t have too long to wait – the release date is set for February 16th!! “WHO’S DAVID” came together during the Busted tour last year. It was written by James and Tom (from new band McFly) and as Charlie will tell you it was weird the way it came together. “James and Tom were in a room at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. All my mates were at the gig that night so I was downstairs in the bar having the odd tipple. Every now and again I'd run upstairs and burst into Tom and James' room, and each time I'd find the song at a different stage. The final time I stumbled through the door, at about 8am (just a few drinks later!!!), the song was finished." The song's lyrics deal with infidelity, jealousy and paranoia, and the story unfolding through each verse and chorus leads the singer to go through his girlfriend's mobile phone to discover a series of messages from some guy called David... David, in case you are wondering, isn’t anyone in particular. James tells us "I just chose 'David' because it rhymes with the word 'invaded'!!!!" The Busted boys walked away from the Brits launch party this evening having found out that they have been nominated in not one, not two, but 3 categories in this years Brit awards. After performing at the launch party in the swanky Park Lane hotel, it was revealed that Busted are up for the following: Best British Group Best British Breakthrough Artist Best Pop Act All will be revealed at the awards ceremony at Earls Court on Feb 17th. Wed 7th: BRIT Awards performance. It's just been confirmed that Busted will be performing at this year's flash Brit Awards ceremony. It's a big deal for the boys to be playing at the Brits in front of the cream of the music industry not to mention the millions of viewers who will be tuning in around the globe. The track they will be performing is under wraps at the moment, but we can tell you it's going to be a special and totally exclusive number and one that will have even the record industries biggest cheeses dancing in the aisles! Make sure you check back on Monday following the Brits launch party to find out if Busted have been nominated for an award.

Mon 5th: Busted launch Brits Nominations 2004! Busted start 2004 with a high profile performance at the launch of the Brits Awards 2004! On Monday 12th January in the Park Lane Hotel, London, the all important nominees will be announced for the biggest and most important awards ceremony in the UK music industry. To mark the occasion, Matt, James and Charlie will be performing at the launch party which you can watch live on ITV2. We'll bring you news of any categories Busted are nominated in as it happens! Also performing are Goldfrapp and soul diva Amy Winehouse. The Brit Awards ceremony takes places on Tuesday 17th February in London's Earls Court and is broadcast on ITV1.
